Choosing Blogger Labels

BLOGGER HELP » LABELS

Labels are an important part of your blog navigation. A lesson, some {of us} have learned the hard way. Think main topic, index or even glossary.

When I started blogging about four years ago, I had no idea how important the labels would be to my blog down the road. In the beginning, I labeled with 'keywords' rather than just a 'main topic' (or two).

Using this post as an example, for keywords I may have used: labels, blogger, how-to, article, etc., rather than creating {or adding to} a main topic such as 'Blogger-Help' or 'Blogger-Labels'.

A broader topic will show more posts to your reader. Choose a 'label' or topic according to your blog content. If your blog is about Dogs you may have labels: Training, Nutrition, Exercise and/or Health.

If visiting a Doggie blog seeking a trainer, would you select the 'Training' label or sift through multiple blog posts hoping to locate a trainer near Denver? Sure occasionally, you may find a post conveniently titled 'Dog Trainer's in the Denver Area' however, you're more likely to view the Label titled 'Training' to start your search.

Spyware Detection and Removal Guides

Due to a recent (anonymous/moderated) comment promoting the rogue, SearchandDestroy aka Search-and-Destroy(dot)com, I felt it was necessary to publish removal instuctions. I've also included a short list of excellent spyware/malware/greyware/rogue removal guide sites.

Thanks to Spyware-Techie.com for the
SearchandDestroy or Search-and-Destroy(dot)com Removal Guide

SearchandDestroy is known as a misleading application that pretends to remove spyware and adware. SearchandDestroy comes from the website Search-and-Destroy(dot)com which is a deceptive website promoting rogue (Wikipedia: rogue software) anti-spyware software.
